Hospital cash plan make a fixed payout depending on the plan chosen for each day of hospitalization on qualifying minimum hospitalization criteria set by the insurance company. Minimum hospitalization normally required is hrs. This payout is fixed irrespective of the hospitalization expenses or payout from any other plan. These plans are neither comprehensive nor a substitute to regular health plan. It can be used as a compliment to health insurance plan.
