You need to submit various documents while investing in mutual funds. Few documents are needed only for the first time investor. The list of documents is as follows:



  • Know your customer i.e. KYC acknowledgment is necessary if your investment amount is equal to or greater than Rs 50,000. KYC form can be downloaded from AMFI’s website and few documents such as PAN no. and address proof needs to be submitted to receive the KYC acknowledgment

  • Irrespective of the amount of investment, PAN card copy of an investor needs to be attached every time a mutual fund application is submitted
