Further, there are many criterions that need to be considered before choosing any appropriate fund. These are:

o Absolute returns for the tenure of less than 1year and compounded annualized growth rate (CAGR) for more than 1 year should be considered
o Other parameters such as Expense ratio, Asset Allocation, Asset under Management, Investment Objective, Portfolio of the scheme etc.

Here are some good mid cap funds from the Reliance House

1. Reliance Growth Fund
2. Reliance Vision Fund
3. Reliance Equity Opportunities Fund

Also companies like ICICI and Franklin Templeton also have some really good mid cap mutual funds!
