Topic: Term Policy without medical tests

I am 50+ and have recently taken a term insurance (ICICI Pru ICare).

I am occessional smoker and social drinker also. I have mentioned these facts in the application.

However, ICICI Prud have issued me a Policy without asking for any medical test. Is it proper and OK? No medical test will cause me any problem at a later date during claim time?

I think if you take a term policy without medical, you will not get any claim. Insurance company will reject your claim on this ground. Be careful.

It may cause some problems when you claim your insurance. Normally they ask for medical certificates.

You should have undergone medical. without medical idoube how they issued policy...

They might have asked you about your medical certificates because it is impossible that someone would place an insurance without checking the medical certificates of the client.
