LIC has a variety of products/plans to suit your specific needs in long and short term. These range from:

Endowment plans - Endowment Assurance, Jeevan Amrit etc.
Children plans - Jeevan Kishore, Child Fortune Plus etc.
High Networth plans (for Premium Customers) - Jeevan Shree-I, Jeevan Pramukh
Money back plans - Jeevan Surabhi etc.
Women plans - Jeevan Bharathi-I
Whole Life plans - Jeevan Anand, Jeevan Tarang etc.
Term Assurance plans - Anmol Jeevan-I, Amulya Jeevan-I etc.
Pension plans - Jeevan Nidhi, Jeevan Akshay-V etc.
Market related (Unit linked plans -ULIPs) - Market Plus I, Profit Plus, Fortune Plus etc.
Special plans - New Bima Gold, Jeevan Aastha etc.

LIC Market Plus, a unit linked pension plan, is now renamed to Market Plus- I plan due to updation in the features.

Key features/ benefits include:


  • Premium is invested in one or more of the 4 investment funds offered by corporation.

  • Market related returns during the accumulation phase i.e. during the term of the plan.

  • At maturity (called vesting age) money is paid as per chosen payback (called Annuity) option. You can opt for a 1/3 rd tax free commutation from the accumulated fund value.

  • In case of unfortunate demise during the term, accumulated Fund value as on date of death will be paid to nominee.

  • Rider benefits (Extra benefits in addition to the basic life cover for enhanced protection) of Critical Illness and Accidental cases is also available at nominal extra prices.
