Topic: Query on Term Insurance for NRI

Hi, I intend to buy a term insurance plan. Age - 29 years.

I wanted to know if I go to London for 3 years on employment, will this insurance is valid there. In case of any unfortunate event there in London, will my family in India get the claim.

Pls suggest some good term insurance plan which are valid for NRIs also.

LICs term plan has worldwide cover. For some countries you need to pay extra prmeium, but for US/UK there is no extra premium.

But once you leave India for employment, you have to intimate LIC via NRI questionnaire and may need authentication from your employer.

No need of feel NRI Questionaire, U just take out the policy, still u have the Indian citizen , do Normal procedure like form filling, Normal medcal Thats it.LIC policy valid all over the world. U need to pay ur premium through ur family or relative regularly on time.
If anything happen in london ur family need to show original policy with police postmortam report, Police FIRreport, and some questineer

Pure Term policy you can take ... because your in india now? after policy infore or after 6 months you start london no worry coz when the time of policy inforce your in india.

if case of claim sure your family will get the benifit but its not shoud be planed death hope u understtod

best plan for term you can go for Birla or SBI Life
