Hello

I am having 2 insurance policies with LIC and one with BSLI and another one with HDFC Standard so total 4 insurance policies are there on my name

my query is that after paying premium continously for 3 years for BSLI and HDFC after 3rd year can i cancel the insurance coverage and get my amount back ( i am not asking about partial withdrawal facility ) is there any rider to close one insurance coverage and transfer that amount to another insurance company

Please suggest me on what are the possibilities that i can go ahead

Thanking You

Sai Pothuri

you have not mentioned the name of the plan which is very important for decision making. In general it will be a costly affair it you decide to withdraw early

The name of the plan and the type of plan is what matters. ULIPs normally allow total surrender after 3yrs. Before that you get nothing. You can contact me on my email id. Mostly BSLI and HDFC policies will be ulips as that is what they normally sell.
