I recently opted for Axis Bank Power Home loan and Axis Bank insisted for a Met life mortgage policy for the first applicant.

Met Life recommended their Met Loan assure Group Policy, surprisingly the premium of this policy is atleast 30% higher than the premium of their individual Met Mortgage protector , even though the policies are very similar

When asked the Met life executive informed that this is because they cover people with lower medical history.

Is this possible?
