LIC's Market Plus-I is a Unit Linked Pension Plan. The major benefit in this plan is:

You can take it as a Single Premium or Regular Premium mode
Allocation charges are less: First year 16.50% in Regular mode & 3.3% in Single Premium mode.
No surrender charges after 3rd policy year.
Four Fund options: Bond, Secure, Balanced & Growth.
Four switches in a year are FREE & Rs. 100/- per switch will be charged thereafter.

For my clients, I am handling Switching on their behalf. No Guarantee from LIC. But I can assure you Double of your Single premium Investment in 5 years or 5 times in 10 years, or 10 times in 15 years or 20 times in 20 years or 40 times in 25 years.

Hi arunpatil,
There will be lot of agents who will advice you moon or stars. Don't fall for them and invest intelligently.
First -- Insurance is not investment. So buy term insurance for your insurance needs. Its cheap and really good.
Second-- For investment try mutual fund, PPF or NPS based on your risk profile. If you want to take risk buy mutual fund with SIP plan. Entry load = 0% and you can check their returns from morningstar.com or moneycontrol.com and choose yourself.

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Dear Mr. Karthik,

Without RISKCOVER is best option.

Do you know Mkt Plus-I has given a return of 37% in 2 years against 10% of sensex & more than 1 Crore people have taken this plan. Now expected to grow 5 times in 10 years and hence your investment will also grow. So, Invest your Present in a Safe Future.

Dear licagentncr,

LIC Market Plus 1 has given return only 18.5% cumulative yield (37% in two years). Also when you claim that it will grow 5 times in 10 years, do you assume that we won't have any market crash going forward? Do you believe in market crash LIC market plus will still have similar returns? If you think you can easily switch at the time of market crash then you may be lucky but most of investors or trader even could not know the time of crash.

If you really interested in showing comparisons then please use LIC market plus (plan 181) which was lunched in 5th june 2006. It just completed 4 years and everybody can compare it with Sensex to know which one has given better return. in 4 years LIC Market plus plan 181 has given 11% cumulative yield in comparison to 15.5% of sensex growth.

Just because market plus 1 has put a better result in 1 year does not mean it will continue doing the same going forward.

Thanks.

If some agents are claiming to give assured return of 2/3/4/10/20/40 times of your investment, ask him/her to give a guarantee with a affidavit that he/she will give the money from his/her pocket if your money does not multiply These agents are crap and looking for BAKRA here.

Hi Arun Patil,

LIC market plus is a UKIP Plan in whick locking period is 5 years and now you can not purchase Market plus with out Insurance Coverage (After IRDA guidelines from 1-sep-2010) onwards.

But definately LIC Market plus is a good product, in which there is a very bright chances of making your money double in a time period of 6-7 years. It is a good Idea to invest in Market plus.

The Other option is to invest in LIC jeevan Saral Policy. If you would invest 1000/- per month then after 20 years you would get approx Rs 6,80,000/- (Six Lakh eighty thousand).

For further details and consultation please contact me at +91-9910035458

Pradeep Kumar
