My father had taken a Bajan Allianz Unit Gain policy in 2004. The sum insured was 2 lakh & he paid Rs. 5000 in 6 months. He expired on 5 May. How to claim it?

I am sorry to hear about your loss. you should immediately lodge a claim with the company for the sum assured of Rs 2 Lakhs. Please ensure that the policy was in force when your father expired.
If the policy was in force, the company will honour the claim. To claim, you can contact the company directly or download the claim form directly from their website. Form will clarify which documents are needed, e.g., death certificate, original policy. If all the documents are in place, it will take about 7-10 days for the claim to be settled.
Please call your agent who sold your father the policy to seek his help on how to deal with the situation. Whoever is the beneficiary of the policy will get the money.
