I paid fees for a Diploma in IT of NIIT, Delhi for my daughter. When I ask for Tax exemption under Education (Tuition fees only) the Accounts Manager of my company refused to give tax exemption saying the Diploma Courses conducted by NIIT are not recognized under Income Tax Laws for the purpose purpose of Tax Exemption. Could you please clarify this matter.
