Topic: What is the tax slab available for women?

Hi, I am working in a company as a consultant, I am aware that my income shall be taxable as business Income, I want to know about specific exemption available for women from business Income.

You are correct that your Income shall be assessable as business Income but there is no tax planning measures separately for females under head business or profession. However there is definitely a liberal tax rate available for females and accordingly basic exemption limit for women is Rs.1.8 lakh whereas men the limit is 1.5 lakh.

Is interest paid against personal consumption loan is exempted from taxable amount
