Topic: Invested 1 lakh in bank FD for a year, have to pay TDS for the interest I gained?

I have invested Rs 1 lakh in bank FD @ 11.25% for 1 year. Will the bank deduct TDS on the interest payment? If yes then how much and what is the limit?

On a FD of Rs.1 lakh you shall earn a interest of Rs.11,734 (approx.) which shall be liable to tax deduction @ 10%. The limit applicable here is that when ever interest payment exceeds Rs.10,000 the entire amount is liable to tax deduction @ 10%.
