Topic: How can I retrieve my paid TDS from a company that I already left?

Hi

I was working as a contract employee in Wipro in the payroll of a consultancy. My monthly salary was 30k and the agency deducted monthly 3k towards my TDS. I completed the contract on Dec 31st and I paid 15k as TDS.

I joined in a new company and for the fiscal my total taxable amount will be 3,10000. In that, I already paid 15k. I assess my tax won't require 15k. As I already left the company (the agency) how my TDS can be retrieved after the tax amount I need to pay? If 2000 is the tax amount I have to pay for the fiscal, how I will get the 12k. Or will it consider for the next fiscal tax.

This query may be an idiotic one, but please answer ...
