Topic: What are the illness covered under health insurance policies?

please your age. If you want take for your family, no. of adults No. of children, their age to give the best suggestion.
If you age is below 45 ,hale and healthy , you can go for any companies. Medical test may be required for age above 45,50,55 depending upo the comapny.
Instead of asking for the illness covered by the mediclaim.You should know what are the Exclusion( which cannot be claimed
pre existing will not covered.It will be covered after 2/3/4/ depends on the company.
Policy will cover after 30 days from the date of commencement, except in case of accident.
There will be Ist year Exclusion and 2nd year exclusion for certian diseses, like cataract,knee replacement surgery,hernia,piles,etc.
More than 24 hours in patient hospitalisation will be normally covered under Health Insurance policies.
