Hi,

Can someone suggest me a best Health Insurance policy for my parents aged 50(Mother), 57(Father). They both have high blood pressure and my father has Sugar complaint also. I would like to take a policy which covers all kinds of diseases/surgeries//illness treatments with minimal conditions applying.

Please do suggest me the best.

Thanks in advance.

You can buy health insurance policy for your parents as most health insurance providers offer policies for senior citizens. One of the leading health insurance providers is Max Bupa which provides health insurance plans with assured plan renewability and any age enrollment with other comprehensive benefits. As far as previous health problems of your patents are concerned, it might come under pre-existing disease clause and might have to undergo some medical tests before insurance approval.

For your aged parents, senior citizen health insurance will be the best suited option to be chosen. in this way, your parents can afford the health insurance as it is available at nominal costs.

You parents could well be within the age-bracket of getting insured by some medical health insurance providers in India. But you'd have to check the eligibility criteria of the insurer. Bajaj Allianz is one such insurance company which provides health insurance plans for dependent parents (up to 50 years) at affordable premiums. You can check with them and get an online quote. They also provide an option of availing tax benefits under section 80D with the insurance policy.

Not sure about your insurance provider. But there are very few health insurance providers who offers health plans for Sr citizen at maximum age limit. This reminds of Max Bupa which offers health insurance policies for the complete society under all age group. There is no age limit in any of the plan with tax benefits under 80C. Policies are been rationalized in such way that it meets all common health requirements of an Indian family. Hope you get my point. Good luck bro..
