You can consider Apollo DKV. It is good plan and covers various conditions not normally covered

under other mediclaim policies. As the premiums for the plan are higher you should consider whether the add on benefits are worth the additional premiums. If you are cost conscious you can consider plan from reliance health wise silver plan or Star health family floater optima plan.

I would suggest you to get family health insurance quotes online from various health insurance providers and then accordingly choose the policy which fulfills your healthcare requirements at affordable premium payment cost. When buying family health plans try considering the following factors,
1. Cashless hospitalization,
2. Coverage to your family,
3. Pre & post hospitalization cover,
4. Premium payment amount,
5. Claim facilities, etc.

Me (32), Wife (27), Father (62), Mother (57), father in low (59), mother in low (56). we are covered one mediclaim ploicy. only i m pay yearly 8000/-. & sum assured is unlimited for all person. year 2011 my father was hospitalized 6 times in same year & he is nemonia patient. 6 times total bill is Rs. 3,42,700/- given amount is claimed. so thanks my mediclaim policy. contact no 9222285221

I would suggest you to opt for the family health insurance plan from Max Bupa, one of the best medical insurance providers of India. There is no age limit for enrolment. You can easily string all your members under one single plan. It covers some of the pre-existing disease, but there is a waiting period for few months. Make sure you get clear on your doubts and requirements before you opt for a plan. Hopes, this helps.
