Easy Health plan provides coverage to both individual and family. It coverage limit also encloses pre- hospitalization expenses incurred 30 days prior to the hospitalization, subject to the terms and conditions.
But, the plan provides coverage to pre-hospitalization expenses only,
If the medical costs are incurred for the similar condition for which he/she was hospitalized.
Claim for inpatient hospitalization has been acknowledged.
If the notice to the insurer is made 5 days early, the coverage limit for medical expenses may increase to 60 days before hospitalization, as per the policy wording of the plan selected.
In the same way, Insure Health and Maxima are the other two health plans of Apollo Munich Health Insurance. Each of them has their own coverage limits relating to pre-hospitalization charges. Maxima provides coverage to medical costs for 90 days before hospitalization, if the insurer has made 5 days prior notice.
