Retirement planning is different from tax planning and real estate planning. First of all you decide what is you requirement. However your requirement can be define as financial planning as you want to make comprehensive planning for an individual.

There are few financial planning firm are available in India : iTRUST, Bajaj Capital, Park Financial Advisors etc

Advice America has its financial planning software for the IFA's.

It is a necessary to plan for retirement as since you won’t be working you have to save money as your income will be less then what you spend after you stop working unless you are rich..
