Hi,

I was wondering if we can do without financial planning or not? Even if we need financial planning, why cant we do it ourself?

Well Amit, I think Financial Planning in today's world is an impeccable decision. It helps to envisage the future. It helps us to map the current resources and future resources to the desired future needs. By effective and optimum use of investment modes, we can actually realize our dreams and aspirations.

Hence I believe that Financial Planning is the necessity of the present Indian scenario where nuclear family system is the hard core reality

Yes Vikas,

Financial planning can help you in even buying a house. While you take a decision to buy a house, we need to check 2 things:

First, whether you have adequate amount for the downpayment towards the house purchase, along with that we need to check the registration fee, stamp duty, brokerage charges to be paid in cash.

Secondly, we need to check if your cash flow i.e. your monthly savings will be able to support the expected EMI of the new house you buy. These two scenarios can be fully checked by the excercise of financial planning. Financial Planning will let you know how much EMI and downpayment amount can you actually afford wit your current cash flow and your expected increased cash flow in the near future.

Coming to your second question, cost of financial plan varies on the requirement of yours, as it is a tailor made solution, hence you need to contact our Relationship Manager. Feel free to contact us on the toll free number and we will revert for sure within 24-48 hours. Or else, put a question on the website and the concerned department will revert within 24-48 hours.

To answer your third question, financial plans need to be reviewed every 6/12 months. Every Financial Plan needs to be monitored in order to check on the new developments either on your financial situation on or new financial goals. It helps you not to deviate from your desired future financial goals.

This is just a new name to our age old practise of save for the future that our forefathers have been practising for a long time. Only thing is, it has gone more complex with the changing world. To adapt ourselves to the new changes happening regularly, we need to plan for our future.
Most of the time, we leave for future planning into other hands. But remember this, only you can take care of your hard earned money.
Now there is a tool readily available that helps you plan for future, help you make investment decisions, take care of your expenses.

I am not sure if I'll spend money on financial planning and it'll be worth a return. I know i am not good at managing my finances - but not sure if someone can help me either. thanks.
