Becoming LIC AGENT is a quiet easy task. You will have to undergo a 9 days full time training
programme for 50 hrs. or you may opt for online training of 50 hrs where you will be taught with the basic concepts of life insurance.
Then you will have to qualify for the online test of 50 marks conducted by INSURANCE INSTITUTE OF INDIA.
For passing this exam you will have to score minimum 50% marks. The test will be of one hrs duration.
Then you will be issued a licence from LIC to sell insurance policies of LIC.
If you lives in Mumbai and want to work with LIC as an AGENT /INSURANCE ADVISER go ahead
